HOW DOES PAX 3 WORK?

To load the PAX 3, remove the oven lid to reveal the herb chamber. Fill with finely ground dry herb and pack the chamber down until it is at the very least half-way filled. Replace the oven lid and quickly press the button in the center of the mouthpiece to begin heating. The LED light will pulse purple, and then green to indicate the PAX 3 is prepared for use.

To enjoy waxy oil concentrates, plug the concentrate insert into the herb chamber. Fill the chamber with wax concentrate using the included loading tool. Quickly press the power button to begin heating. Let the chamber heat for around 30 seconds to thoroughly vaporize the wax. Take a hit.

PAX 3 allows you to easily choose a temperature setting using the power button. After turning the device on, hold the button down for two seconds to engage temp set mode. Your current temp setting will be indicated by the LED light: One green bar = Low, Two yellow bars = Medium Low, Three orange bars = Medium High, Four red bars = High. To switch through the 4 temperature settings, quickly press the power button. To set a temperature, hold the power button down again, or shake the device. This will lock in the temperature and PAX 3 will begin heating.

HOW TO CLEAN PAX 3

To maintain optimal performance, you should clean the PAX 3 regularly. Remove the oven lid and brush out the herb chamber regularly. The included wire brush is ideal for heavy cleaning, while the pipe cleaner is better for light cleaning. A dash of isopropyl alcohol and thorough scrubbing with the wire brush will help break down heavy residue, which will maintain the best airflow and vapor production. Cleaning the chamber after each use will ensure that the PAX 3 won’t need heavy cleaning in the future.
